Help me support Providence Community Library and make a difference!
Hello Family and Friends,
In case you don't know, I am afraid of heights. But I am going Over The Edge in support of Providence Community Library. I will stand on the roof of 2 Regency Plaza apartment building in downtown Providence and go Over The Edge to rappel 12 stories to the ground! I'm not making this up…check out the event website here www.provcomlib.org/edge.
I am not asking you to rappel the building with me (but you totally can!) but I will need your support to get to the top. I am not only pledging to go Over The Edge, but I am also committing to raise $1,000 for Providence Community Library. When PCL started and hired me as Business Manager 10 years ago I became passionate about this amazing network of 9 community libraries that have been anchors in every neighborhood for generations of patrons. Last year PCL's libraries were visited by more than 650,000 people, and nearly 70,000 people attended educational and cultural programs. I love seeing people engaged in the variety of programs we offer and you can join me in providing more opportunities!
