My Towering story:
I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the great work that the Providence Community Library provides on a daily basis. The Library is not just a place where you can check out a book or attend a story time.
The modern day library is a community recourse that literally has something for everyone from GED courses in Spanish, language classes to learn to speak Italian or Spanish, a place to hold a meeting, or get something notarized. All for free.
All nine locations of the Providence Community Library have maker spaces that students and adults alike can utilize to express their creativity these Maker spaces are equipped with 3D printers, vinyl cutters, sewing machines and so much more. And yes for free for all to use.
There is no membership fees or cost to attend a program, at Providence Community Library.
There are plenty free streaming options as well filled of audio books, Movies, Music and of course eBooks.
This past year has been hard on everyone and Providence Community Library did not skip a beat and literal went virtual overnight and then introduced curb side pick-up for books, movies and music to help keep people entertained at home and to aid in distant learning.
